Job Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for an early-career professional to join our expanding Workiva team. As a Consultant, you will work alongside senior colleagues to deliver technology-driven business solutions for our clients, developing your consulting, technology, and stakeholder management skills from day one. Internally, you will support the enhancement of our consulting methodology and contribute to our growing capability in Risk and ESG reporting.

You will work as part of a high-performing consulting team, gaining exposure to a diverse client base ranging from household-name banks to smaller pre-IPO organisations. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is keen to build a blend of technology, accounting, and people skills, with the support and mentorship of a close-knit APAC team.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

  • Support the delivery and implementation of ICT solutions on consulting projects, contributing to clients' business objectives under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Contributing to solution design, configuration, and deployment of Workiva platforms, including reporting and compliance.
  • Actively participate in the hands-on design and delivery of project tasks, supporting the successful execution of project plans, workflows, and deliverables.
  • Contribute to identifying business process gaps and opportunities, helping to enhance our consulting processes, maximise business value for clients and build intellectual property within Workiva.
  • Collaborating with client stakeholders to elicit, analyse and document business and functional requirements, translating them into scalable Workiva solution designs.
  • Build positive working relationships with client contacts on assigned workstreams, escalating more complex issues to senior colleagues as needed.
  • Support senior colleagues, the APAC Director, and Practice Leads in strengthening relationships with technology partners, including exploration of new partnerships and geographies.
  • Assist with the creation of documentation such as status reports, workflows, business process models, and optimal technology solutions.
  • Contribute to consulting project cycles by supporting scoping, research, and proposal development for prospective clients.
  • Building expertise in Workiva integrations, project delivery lifecycle, and best practices in regulatory and financial reporting environments.
