About the Role

As a Consultant, you will lead client projects, taking charge of structuring and coordinating the activities of a team of consultants and/or associates to develop cohesive strategies in collaboration with the client. A key aspect of your role will be maintaining and strengthening client relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted business advisor to mid-management levels within client organizations.

Key Responsibilities


The Consultant will support and manage project modules across strategy consulting engagements in industrial technology, manufacturing, and electronics-led sectors. Key responsibilities include:

  • Research and Analysis: Plan and conduct secondary research, primary interviews, market assessment, competitive benchmarking, customer analysis, opportunity evaluation, and market sizing. Structure findings into clear, evidence-backed insights relevant to the project objectives.
  • Problem Solving and Insight Development: Break down business problems into clear workstreams, identify key market drivers, challenges, and implications, and support the development of practical recommendations for clients.
  • Client-Ready Output Development: Translate research and analysis into well-structured slides, charts, tables, and written summaries. Support the development of clear storylines and ensure outputs are accurate, logical, and presentation-ready.
  • Project Module Ownership: Take ownership of assigned workstreams, manage day-to-day progress, coordinate with internal team members and external experts, track timelines, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Client Interaction and Support: Participate in client discussions, update meetings, and interviews. Support senior team members in explaining findings, addressing client questions, and refining outputs based on feedback.
  • Team and Knowledge Support: Guide junior analysts where required, review their work, and contribute to internal knowledge-building, thought leadership, and sector-specific content.


Required Competencies


The ideal candidate should have experience or strong interest in industrial technology and electronics-led manufacturing ecosystems. Relevant exposure may include industrial automation, electronics manufacturing, EMS/ODM, semiconductors, electrical and electronic components, advanced manufacturing, industrial equipment, factory automation, and broader manufacturing value chains.


  • A relevant university degree (BA, BS) in Business marketing, Economics, Engineering, or technology. A postgraduate degree (master’s or PhD) is highly regarded and considered an advantage
  • 7- 8 years of analyst/consulting working experience within a Consulting and/or Advisory services business environment.
  • The ability to research and write a coherent story in proper English about a topic is critical.
  • A foundational understanding of the manufacturing, industrial and process industries, such as industry structure, operational practices, and competitive landscapes.
  • The ability to network to create new relationships and to proactively manage on-going relationships to stay relevant to market intelligence needs of the clients.
  • An analytical thought process, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills and business level fluency in English.
  • The desire to learn public presentation skills in front of an audience and a video camera.
  • Confident enough to present your work to a group of peers or a client and defend your analysis in a calm and professional manner.
  • A team player who views team collaboration as an important path to professional development.
  • Analytical Skills - Able to plan research for the complete engagement, i.e., qualitative, quantitative and empirical. Able to plan and structure the analysis and outcome from the research and its relevance to the project outcome. Strong problem solving skills, work to get at the root cause of problems. Proactive & constructive, i.e., able to suggest innovative but pragmatic solutions. Show good judgement and perspective. Identify problems and causes easily, and propose solutions. Confident in implementing solutions. advanced skills and maturity across all tools and applications for project delivery. Able to articulate components of the Growth Pipeline Dialog for discussion with clients.
  • Interpersonal Skills - Show initial ability to engage senior members of a client team and conduct solutioning and domain-centric discussions on project issues and solutions. Able to generate buy-in/ acceptance from the client. Coach, train and assist team members in acquiring the requisite understanding and practice of tools, methodologies and framework. Able to create a project management plan taking on-board project resources and expected outcomes. Able to plan and distribute work effectively. Track & manage project delivery and also perform quality control for projects. Able to plan own/team project timelines, ensure on-time project delivery. Relate well to middle management, able to anticipate problems based on experience. Lead speaker at client presentations. Speaking at industry events/ tradeshows, F&S events.
  • Client Handling Skills - Lead development of proposal, addressing specific client requirements using logical and robust framework methodology. Able to structure proposal into an intuitive and clear storyboard. Address client queries with confidence and clearly explain approach/ methodology proposed. Relate to decision makers on client team and bring opportunity to closure through negotiation.
  • Corporate Development - Good understanding of our value proposition and product offering. Able to identify improvement areas and suggest best practice solutions for implementation. Support marketing and leaders with development of Thought Leadership content.
