The ACT Party is seeking a Content Creator to help craft compelling multimedia content that drives engagement and delivers ACT’s message effectively. If you have a talent for video production, graphic design, and social media content, this is the perfect opportunity to put your skills to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
About the Role
The Content Creator will be responsible for producing high-quality digital and print content, including video, graphics, and animations, to support the ACT Party’s communication strategy. You’ll work closely with the Communications Manager and Digital Manager to ensure ACT’s policies and messaging are effectively presented across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce, edit, and publish video content, including adding titles, graphics, end-frames, music, and captions.
- Shoot and edit photographic content to be used across digital and print media.
- Design graphics and print materials aligned with ACT’s branding and messaging.
- Create engaging and consistent content tailored to various digital platforms.
- Collaborate with the communications team to develop creative concepts and deliver impactful visual storytelling.
- Ensure all content meets the ACT Party’s vision, values, and brand guidelines.
- Work alongside third-party digital suppliers when required.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
We are looking for a skilled content producer with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in video, graphics, and digital content. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating engaging visual materials across multiple platforms and be proficient in industry-standard software.
Key skills and experience include:
- Content production expertise – proven ability to create high-quality video, graphics, and digital content.
- Adobe Creative Suite proficiency – strong skills in Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and Animate.
- Animation experience – ability to use animation software to create HTML5 banner ads.
- Video and sound recording – experience capturing and editing high-quality audio and visuals.
- Fast-paced delivery – ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and attention to detail – excellent written skills and a keen eye for accuracy.
- Teamwork and adaptability – collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a politically dynamic environment.
- Creative problem-solving – ability to think quickly and deliver innovative solutions under pressure.

Please note: This is a full-time role. The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 per annum. Appointments will be made according to skills and experience..
