Position Overview
This is a full-time, in-office position based in Stoney Creek. The Contents Loss Claim Support team member will assist in documenting, organizing, and supporting contents (personal property) insurance claims. Cross training with other in-house office support staff will also form part of this role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in insurance claims.
No prior industry experience is required — we are willing to train the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with documenting and organizing contents claims
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and supporting documents
- Utilize our in-house software platform for claims preparation
- Support adjusters with file preparation and claim follow-ups
- Coordinate with contractors, restoration companies, and insurers as required
- Maintain organized digital and physical claim files
- Provide professional and empathetic customer service to clients during stressful situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma required (post-secondary education or enrollment in the CIP program is an asset)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Professional demeanor and strong customer service mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $22.50-$25.00 per hour
