Based in Papakura, Auckland, we are looking for an experienced Administrator. As the Capital Works Administrator, your focus will be coordinating and reporting the Capital Works response to requests for service, and financial administration matters required for the effective Capital works of the Auckland Region. This is a part time role.

What you'll be responsible for
- Provide the logistical and administrative link between the client request for service and the operational response of Veolia.
- Provide financial administration and primary customer response to all enquiries and requests for service for the Auckland Region.
- Data cleansing and feeding information back to clients/Regional Manager.
- Positively contribute to the district based Capital works teams by fostering effective working relationships with field, engineering and management staff, client representatives and customers and suppliers.
- Comply with the requirements of Veolia Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Policy Statements, including participation at local toolbox and health and safety meetings.
- Comply with the requirements of the company business management system and the Quality Policy for drinking water, wastewater treatment and disposal to contribute to the company commitment to provide safe, high quality drinking water and wastewater services that consistently meets or exceeds the requirements of the Contract.
- Undertake such general duties as required for the effective provision of services to the client and customers.

Assist the Auckland region Contracts with Administration duties should the Contract Administrator be on leave.
What you'll need to be successful
- Previous experience in an administrative role is required.
- Experience in dispatching of jobs within the water industry
- Planning and organisational ability.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Confidence in own judgement and capability.
- Can maintain a stable performance level during periods of pressure.
- Proficient in the use of computers with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office software.
- Current driver's licence.
- Ability and willingness to work out of hours when required.
- Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Health and Safety legislation.
You are a self-starter who can work with a high degree of autonomy and personal integrity. Along with a good work ethic you are an effective communicator who has the natural ability to interact and relate to staff at all levels of the organisation, and to the client, suppliers and customers. You are able to demonstrate your ability to be able to quickly adapt to changing circumstances.
