About the role

Do you have a passion for the City of Sydney's parks and the opportunities they provide for green and vibrant local communities?

We are looking for an experienced contract manager/parks professional to assist the City Greening and Leisure business unit in delivering our objectives as an asset manager in ensuring the City's network of parks, assets and recreational facilities are well managed.

The primary responsibilities of the role are to manage service and consultancy contracts to meet the needs of the community, to maintain the quality of the City's parks and street greening assets to the highest standard, manage key relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, deliver outcomes that reflect the core governance and business principles of the City, and to seek continual improvements in park asset management.

The position will play a vital role in delivering the Sustainable Sydney 2030, Greening Sydney and Environmental strategy objectives by ensuring service delivery and compliance objectives are met, by delivering environmental outcomes and improved sustainability performance, and through implementing strategies that contribute to parks asset management plans.

You will have demonstrated experience in contract management, park management, and managing multiples services, contracts and projects. You will be able to clearly demonstrate highly developed contract management skills, an operational understanding of asset management, and excellence in customer service. You will also have experience in project implementation, performance management, specification writing and bench marking of services.



This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
