Trans 99 Logistics USA is aggressively growing our U.S. fleet, and we're looking for an entrepreneurial Contract Driver Field Recruiter in Laredo, Texas to help us find and hire professional CDL-A drivers and owner-operators.

This isn't a traditional recruiting desk job.

We're looking for someone who knows the Laredo transportation community—or is ready to build a serious presence in it. You'll have the freedom to develop relationships, attend driver events, visit truck stops, work referral networks, build local partnerships, use social media, distribute marketing materials, and find drivers wherever great drivers can be found.

But you won't be doing it alone.

Trans 99 provides the infrastructure, technology, marketing resources, and recruiting support. You bring the relationships, hustle, creativity, and ability to close.

Who You'll Recruit

Our U.S. fleet is actively adding:

• Company Solo CDL-A Drivers
• Company Team CDL-A Drivers
• Owner-Operators
• Occasional local opportunities as business needs develop

Our primary recruiting focus is professional drivers looking for consistent miles and weekly home time.

• Approximately 3,200 miles per week on average for solo drivers
• 7,000+ miles per week on average for teams
• Consistent weekly home time
• Late-model 2025–2027 Volvo VNL 760 and 860 equipment

With our technology, recruiting team, dedicated processor, and established workflows, we have the ability to move a qualified candidate from initial contact to hire in as little as five days.

Background checks, pre-employment requirements, documentation, and onboarding workflows are built into our ATS.

Your job is to create the opportunity and keep the candidate engaged.

Our job is to help you close.

What You'll Do in Laredo

• Develop a strong field recruiting presence throughout the Laredo transportation community.
• Build relationships with CDL-A drivers, teams, and owner-operators.
• Recruit through truck stops, driver gathering points, community relationships, referrals, social media, events, signage, and other creative channels.
• Leverage Laredo's position as one of North America's most important cross-border transportation markets.
• Generate your own driver leads while also utilizing Trans 99 marketing resources.
• Explain Trans 99's driver opportunities accurately and professionally.
• Pre-qualify prospective drivers before moving them into the formal recruiting process.
• Enter and manage candidates through your personalized Double Nickel recruiting links and QR codes.
• Maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruiting and onboarding process.
• Work directly with our Recruiting Manager and dedicated processor to overcome obstacles and close qualified candidates.
• Develop referral relationships with drivers and other members of the local trucking community.
• Represent the Trans 99 brand professionally in the field.
• Experiment with new recruiting channels and tell us what works in the Laredo market.

Who We're Looking For

You may already be a driver recruiter—or you may simply be someone with deep relationships in trucking who knows how to sell an opportunity.

We're interested in people with backgrounds in:

• CDL driver recruiting
• Trucking operations or dispatch
• Transportation sales
• Driver management
• Trucking industry networking
• Owner-operator recruiting
• Staffing or field recruiting
• Transportation entrepreneurship

Spanish-English bilingual communication is a strong asset in the Laredo market.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is self-motivated, credible with drivers, comfortable approaching people, and motivated by performance-based compensation.

Compensation

This is a performance-based independent contractor opportunity.

Earn up to $1,600 for every driver you successfully recruit:

$800 when your driver completes their first dispatch

+

$800 when that driver reaches 30 days with Trans 99

Bring us one successful driver: $1,600

Bring us five: $8,000

Bring us ten: $16,000
