Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Oil Contract Operators, with minimum of 7 years experience, to manage and operate sweet cold flow heavy oil single well batteries, multiwell battery and water disposal sites. This is a hands-on role for someone who is mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and eager to work in the heavy oil sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor single well heavy oil batteries and water disposal sites.
• Operate multi-well battery.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs on equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational regulations.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of production and operational activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience working with heavy oil is an asset.
• Previous experience working in a treating Battery is an asset.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to safety and operational procedures.

Schedule:

• 7 days on / 7 days off rotation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60.00 per hour

Experience:

• oil battery operating: 2 years (preferred)
• oil operating: 7 years (required)
