Position Snapshot:

A sharp, strategic, and hands-on Controller who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and lead the finance and accounting function of a growing business. If you love numbers, people, process improvement — and aren’t afraid to wear a few hats — this one’s for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Taking charge of all things finance: AR/AP, payroll, HR, benefits — you name it.
• Building solid internal controls and financial policies that make audits a breeze.
• Leading budgeting and forecasting with clarity and precision.
• Managing cash flow, foreign currency conversions, and hedging.
• Reviewing and signing off on all financial reports like a boss.
• Being the go-to for financial reporting, metrics, and operational KPIs.
• Keeping an eagle eye on inventory accounting and consumables.
• Owning insurance policies and making sure everything's compliant.
• Leading ad hoc projects like a pro.

What You Bring to the Table:

• A post-secondary education in Accounting (CPA preferred!)
• 5–10 years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 in leadership
• Strong analytical chops and attention to detail
• Confident with accounting systems and financial software
• Proven leadership and team motivation skills
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment (this one’s a must)
• Great time management and communication
• Ability to keep things confidential and cool under pressure
• On-site presence in Barrie — they’re all about collaboration and connection
