Overview
Company is looking for an experienced controller/accountant part-time. This is an exciting opportunity to become a member of a dynamic team in a fast paced organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all financial monitoring and financial transactions occurring within the company.
Duties include:
- accounts payable
- accounts receivable
- payroll
- full cycle accounting
- preparation of monthly financial statements
Other responsibilities include:
- working with auditors and other oversight bodies
- ensuring that the organization is using GAAP ( generally accepted accounting principles)
- supervision of staff
- working with management team to achieve company goals,
- working closely with owner to review and analyze monthly financials reports
Qualifications
- minimum of 2-5 years of accounting experience
- experience as a supervisor/manager
Other skills and requirements
- strong accounting background
- strong EXCEL, MS OFFICE, WORD, OUTLOOK skills,
- excellent written and oral communications skills
- leadership experience,
- high degree of professionalism,
- strong work ethic,
- reliability,
- strong reconciliation skills,
- reliability,

- ability to lead team members as well as be a productive member of leadership team
- experience with ADP or similar automated payroll
- experience with Sage,
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 22.5 per week
Work Location: In person
