We operate a full-service general cargo facility in Toledo, Ohio, focused on material handling across marine, rail, and truck operations. We're currently seeking a skilled and dependable Conveyor Operator & Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate and monitor conveyor systems for efficient bulk material transfer

· Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on conveyors, including belts, rollers, bearings, and drives

· Conduct system inspections and make necessary adjustments or repairs

· Perform tasks including light welding, torching, grinding, and cutting

· Operate equipment such as skid steers, manlifts, forklifts, and backhoes as needed

· Assist with general facility upkeep including painting, cleaning, and organizing

· Work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)

· Follow company safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times

· Use ladders and harnesses to safely work at heights when necessary

· Participate in safety meetings and team operations

· Comply with Midwest Terminals drug-free workplace policy, including random testing

Qualifications:

· Prior experience in conveyor operation or mechanical maintenance preferred

· Ability to operate various types of equipment and hand/power tools

· Basic mechanical or millwright skills required (welding, cutting, torching, etc.)

· High school diploma or GED

· Must be physically capable of lifting, climbing, and working in outdoor conditions

· Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

· Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)

Schedule:

· Monday to Friday

· Overtime, nights and weekend work may be required
