Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar is looking for the right individual to join our Kitchen team at Rogue Gastown. Full-time and Part-time positions available for the right people. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and service of food. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Cook menu items to spec
• Communicate with other staff and management
• Perform inventory checks
• Ensure recipe ingredients are checked for quality on a consistent basis
• Uphold bill time standards
• Ensure that the kitchen is held to the highest health and sanitization standards
• Continually look for ways to improve processes, procedures, and reduce costs

Required Skills:

• Self-motivated, results driven, prefers to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to make judgement calls independently when needed
• Outstanding team player with excellent work ethic
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment

Education and Experience:

• Experience cooking in a busy restaurant
• Food Safe Certification
• First Aid Level 1 (an asset)

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
