Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes, standards, and safety guidelines
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and kitchen surfaces in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients and suggesting improvements based on culinary best practices
- Handle food with proper safety procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service times
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while adhering to recipe specifications and presentation standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or the food industry is highly desirable
- Demonstrated proficiency in food preparation techniques including slicing, chopping, and cooking methods
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production environments
- Experience with dietary department procedures or dietary aide roles is a plus
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and ensure smooth operations
- Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes
- Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Hours of Operation
- Our hours of operation at the club for customers eating are 11:00-3:30 seven days a week and Dinner nights on Wednesday & Friday starting at 5:00
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 36.0 per week
