- Plan and organise the preparation and cooking of food at the highest standard
- Supervise, train and co-ordinate the activities of junior cooks and kitchen hands
- Ensure that all appliances are in working condition by ensuring they meet all applicable laws relating hygiene and safety.
- Prepare and cook Indian dishes, season and preserve foods
- Ensure the quality of foods before they leave the kitchen
- Ensure that the kitchen is kept clean at all times
- Determine production schedules and work time requirements
- Such other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- North Shore 0627: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
