Frenchpark & Districts Childcare is currently looking for a Cook. Applicants must qualify for the Community Services Programme.

Role:

We are seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team in the daily preparation and delivery of high quality, wholesome, nutritious meals and snacks for the children attending our centre.

Job details: Fixed-term contract

Salary: €14.00 per hour

Hours of Work: Part-time (up to 20 hours per week). Day-time hours only.

Benefits: 22 days paid annual leave (pro-rata)

Essential Criteria:

· Some experience in a similar role

· Ability to help deliver a 4-week menu cycle in line with School meals nutrition guidelines and allergen requirements

· Ensure that the catering service is appropriately prepared for Pobal and Environmental Health inspections

· Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team, including the ability to organise, plan, and prioritise tasks

· Good communication skills

· High level of spoken and written English

Requirements:

· Help in the efficient co-ordination of the daily running of the Kitchen environment in line with Childcare Preschool Services Regulations, HACCP guidelines and Safe Catering policies and our Childcare Services policies and procedures.

· Ensure adequate stock levels for smooth running of services

· Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
