We are currently seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Cubanska, a restaurant dedicated to delivering authentic Cuban flavours and a vibrant dining experience. Ideal candidates will be passionate about hospitality, committed to excellence, and eager to contribute to a dynamic and culturally rich environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare traditional Cuban dishes like ropa vieja, various rice, beans, meats, and fried plantains (tostones).
• Follow authentic recipes while maintaining high quality and presentation
• Manage food prep, cleanliness, and kitchen organisation
• Assist with inventory and ensure food safety standards are met

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a professional kitchen, Cuban or Caribbean/Latin American cuisine preferred.
• Strong understanding of flavour profiles, seasoning, and preparation techniques unique to Caribbean cuisine
• Familiarity with slow-cooked meats, bold spices, and tropical ingredients
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and maintain work efficiency and composure under pressure.

· EU citizenship or a valid work/resident permit for Finland

• Team player with a strong attention to detail
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude
