Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste and presentation. Your creativity and attention to detail will contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist in menu planning and development, providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
  • Provide support during busy service periods, helping fellow team members as needed.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
  • Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
  • A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight guests.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

  • Cooking Indian Food: 1 year (required)
