About the role
The role of Coordinator: NDIS Supports facilitates the coordination of NDIS services and supports provided by Catherine House (CH) to clients residing in our accommodation programs, as well as to those living independently in the community or in another service setting. The coordinator: NDIS Supports is responsible for ensuring that CH provides the highest level of support to NDIS clients, while working to meet all quality and safeguarding requirements. The coordinator: NDIS Supports is primarily responsible for coordinating the type and delivery of the daily living supports CH provides to NDIS clients, both onsite in its accommodation programs and in community settings or homes.
Provide expert guidance and coordination of NDIS supports, ensuring clients achieve their goals while maximising their NDIS funding and service outcomes.
Monitor NDIS legislation, policy, pricing arrangements, and compliance requirements, providing advice and leadership to staff on best practices and service delivery.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, support coordinators, recovery coaches, plan managers, and external stakeholders to deliver person-centred support.
Lead program administration, reporting, client record management, invoicing oversight, and quality assurance processes to support efficient and compliant service operations.
Support clients to develop independent living skills, manage day-to-day challenges, participate in their community, and maintain safe, positive living environments.

Skills and Experiences:
About you
You will have:
- Relevant post-secondary qualification plus experience working in a similar role and environment with similar clients
- Experience supporting NDIS clients to achieve their goals
- Experience in working in NDIS services and with NDIS stakeholders
- Experience supporting clients with complex supports needs to manage their mental health issues
- Experience collaborating with women from diverse backgrounds, cultures, religions, and sexuality
- Experience with client crisis management, de-escalation of incidents and management of client behavioural and support issues
- Mental Health First Aid Training or willingness to attend course within two months of commencement of employment
- Child Safe Environments Training or willingness to attend course within two months of commencement of employment
- Food Safety Certificate or willingness to attain within two months of commencement of employment.
- Client case note recording including electronic data systems
- Meal preparation and kitchen duties
