• Proofread and refine academic journals, scholarly articles, and book manuscripts.
• Ensure consistency with style guides (APA, AMA, Chicago, MLA, etc.).
• Collaborate with authors and editors to maintain clarity and preserve the author’s tone.
• Verification, check facts, and ensure adherence to publication standards.
• Graduate/Postgraduate in English, Journalism, Communications, or STEM (Math, Science, Engineering).
• 2–5 years of experience in copy editing or proofreading journals, books, or academic content (freshers with strong portfolios are welcome).
• Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and style guide conventions.
• Familiarity with APA, AMA, MLA, and Chicago formats; experience with reference tools preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Word (Track Changes), Google Docs (Suggestions), and PDF markup.
• Experience using copy editing tools for tagging/structuring using styles.
• Working knowledge of Math Type and XML.
• Experience using Grammarly or similar language-editing tools.
• Work from Office for full-time
• Location: Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu
