About the role
As Corporate Assets Coordinator, you’ll support the management of essential safety measures, regulatory compliance, and asset-based reporting across Housing Choices Australia's national residential property portfolio.
You’ll manage rates and land tax, support project delivery, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to help maintain safe, cost-effective and compliant assets. You’ll also assist with procurement activities and corporate tenders, and help ensure that data and reporting is reliable, timely and insightful.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage essential safety measures (ESM) and reporting for regulatory compliance
Oversee council rates, water charges, land tax, and related authority engagement
Support office and facilities functions across residential common areas
Deliver data analysis to support budgeting and forecasting
Contribute to tender processes and ongoing vendor and contract management
Assist in managing small to medium projects related to corporate assets
Collaborate with property, procurement, and finance stakeholders
About the team
The Finance & Risk group provides essential financial stewardship and risk management to support Housing Choices Australia’s long-term sustainability and growth. It manages budgeting, financial reporting, treasury operations, and strategic financial planning, ensuring robust financial health and resource optimisation. This group strategically addresses financial risks and opportunities, safeguarding the organisation's capacity to deliver on its purpose effectively.
Skills and Experiences:
About you
You are a systems-minded coordinator who enjoys bringing clarity and control to asset operations and safety compliance.
You will have:
Experience in residential, facilities or property management roles
Ability to coordinate compliance, vendor relationships and financial processes
Strong analytical and communication skills
Excellent organisation and time management, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
Sound knowledge of safety and property compliance regulations (or ability to acquire)
Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, property, housing or a related field
You must agree to undergo any required employment screening, including but not limited to a National Criminal History or Police Check, Working with Children or Vulnerable Persons Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
