- Performs driver job duties in professional chauffer attire and appearance
- Demonstrates safe and responsible driving skills at all times in compliance with state and local driving laws
- Assists with any special needs during transportation such as carrying bags or packages, opening doors, holding umbrellas, assisting passengers in and out of the vehicle, etc
- Maintains the company vehicle and ensuring it remains in an optimal operating condition including cleaning, polishing, detailing
- Visually inspects vehicle equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
- Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs and reports improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to supervisor immediately.
- Assists with daily building maintenance such as; fixing lights, changing light bulbs, repairing faucets, carpentry, painting, and electrical work, and assembling & disassembling of office furniture & cubicles. Carpentry may consist of but is not limited to hanging drywall, spackling, sanding and painting
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including light snow removal
- Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
- Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role.
- Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties
- Previous chauffeur experience is helpful but not required
- Current and valid PA driver’s license, a clean driving record, and abilities to pass a DOT/Non-DOT medical examination and undergo a criminal and driving history check
- CDL license is a plus but not required
- Reliable, consistent and punctual attendance is an absolute requirement
- Work schedule varies. Occasional early starts, evening pickups and/or weekend pickups will be required. Work hours will not exceed 80 hours per 2-week periods
- Appearance must be polished with a positive and professional attitude, and must adhere to our uniform dress code requirements
- Building maintenance experience a strong plus
- General knowledge of electric, plumbing and carpentry a plus
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs; moving chairs, tables, etc., climb ladders, push/pull carts/trash cans, reach for supplies, carry luggage, handle constant physical movement
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and represent Globus Medical in a positive, professional manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Required to possess specific visons abilities, including: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focus
