The Corporate Operations Trainee supports the strategic plans and objectives of the Corporate Operations Department. The function should be supportive, hands-on, methodical and business focused; creating memorable moments for our guests, taking ownership for assigned activities whilst collaborating closely with their immediate report and key business partners in order to deliver quality results. The job incumbent acts as an ambassador for the brand, reflecting the company culture and values. All work is carried out in accordance with company corporate policies, procedures and service concepts according to local requirements and regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support and assist in the smooth running of the Corporate Operations department, exerting diligent system process control ensuring that systems are well maintained and IT procedures robust in accordance with company and business procedures.
- Working proactively with key stakeholders to ensure business readiness and contingency plans are in place, that operation systems operates as they should, providing a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution.
- Develops and implements operations strategies where objectives are communicated at all levels, the performance of system software and hardware is audited and reported upon to enables strategic business decisions to be made.
- Understand the overall objectives and the operational aspects of all process ensuring that all standards and disciplines are controlled, audited ensuring system efficiencies are attained.
- Develops and builds own skills, knowledge and experience at every opportunity, which aligns with the culture of growth, development and performance expected by the company.
- Build and maintain effective working relationship with all key stakeholders and partners both internal and external ensuring all communications and activities are controlled and undertaken in a timely manner.
- Monitoring and securing Operational Excellence initiatives
- Reviews and scrutinizes operations performance, in accordance with company policy, objectives and standard operations practices, providing recommendations that will drive financial performance and provide added value.
- Ensures adherence to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Open and positive communicative perspective
- Outstanding analytical and strategic skills improving the business from an operations perspective.
- Ability to handle multiple challenging priorities and assignments, in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, with ability to find creative solutions, offering advice and recommendations
- Skilled with Microsoft Office software, especially in Power Point and Excel, and strong in systems understanding
- Excellent ability to work collaboratively across functions and cultures in a global environment
- Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
- Preferably experience in a Hotel Operations position
DURATION: 6 months
COMPENSATION: 700€/month.
