Pay Range: $55-65K/annual

Position Summary:

Securityhunter, a leader in federal electronic security systems integration, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior/mid Project Cost Analyst to join our team. This hybrid role is ideal for early-career professionals with a strong analytical foundation and an interest in project costing analysis. The selected candidate will support cost control, forecasting, and reporting efforts across high-visibility government contracts and work directly with the Chief Operating Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and manage project costs, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with contract requirements.
• Generate and maintain cost reports, spend plans, and variance analyses for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Support the application of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to evaluate project performance and progress.
• Utilize Unanet for project accounting, reporting, and invoice tracking.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Finance to ensure accurate and timely data collection and reporting.
• Assist with the preparation of internal and external project cost reviews and audits.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements in project cost planning and project controls.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience (or 1-3 years with related education in Finance, Accounting, or Project Management).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience with Unanet is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Earned Value theory is strongly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project cost data analysis.
• Previous experience with Federal contracts preferred.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Suitability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
