About the role:
Anglicare have a great opportunity to join our team for a variety of maximum term (till Dec 2025) part-time 3-4 days a week Counsellor-Facilitators. In this role you will undertake a range of counselling services, which may include group work, and case management, which aim to provide holistic support to clients experiencing complex emotional challenges.
These roles are based between Nowra and or Wollongong.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
  • Providing Counselling services, case management, to best possible outcomes for clients & advocating for them
  • Providing a renowned service and development within the community
  • Developing case plans with the client, with achievable outcomes
  • Ensuring full client caseload is maintained
  • Ensure documentation meets organisational, legislative, and funding requirements
About you:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or Counselling is essential
  • Graduate membership of a PACFA registered organisation or AASW, APS, ACA or similar
  • Case management: Ability to conduct a comprehensive client assessment and develop goals in consultation with the client
  • Counselling: Training and clinical experience in working with a variety of ages, and challenging emotional challenges
  • Previous demonstrated experience in assessment and counselling
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
  • Valid paid Working with Children Check (WWC)
