As a Country Representative, you will serve as the overall head of the company’s Canadian operations, overseeing all business units including operations, customs compliance, sales and marketing, and warehouse. You will lead the strategic and operational initiatives to expand the company’s logistics and e-commerce service footprint across Canada, ensuring profitability, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

1. Market & Strategic Development

  • Conduct in-depth research on local market dynamics, industry policies, and competitive landscapes to guide strategic decisions.
  • Formulate and execute localized business, product, and operational strategies in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Drive business expansion through market insights, trade fair participation, and partnership development.
  • Strengthen collaboration with resellers, direct clients, and freight forwarders to enhance local sales capability and expand regional resources.

2. Business Growth & Channel Development

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with resellers, logistics partners, and platform stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities to expand market share and achieve sustainable revenue growth.
  • Lead local sales initiatives to promote logistics and e-commerce solutions tailored to customer needs.

3. Operations & Quality Assurance

  • Oversee all logistics, warehousing, and last-mile operations to ensure on-time, cost-effective, and compliant delivery.
  • Manage and optimize local agent and vendor performance through effective resource allocation and operational governance.
  • Standardize procedures and continuously improve operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Strengthen Canada-Europe import and e-commerce logistics capabilities to achieve end-to-end performance improvement.

4. Compliance, Policy, and Local Engagement

  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of Canadian trade, customs, and logistics regulations (CBSA, CARM, LVS, etc.).
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with local authorities, trade associations, and regulatory bodies.
  • Secure external resources and local partnerships to support business continuity and compliance.
  • Ensure the company’s operations fully comply with local laws, safety standards, and corporate governance.

5. Financial & Performance Management

  • Oversee P&L performance, financial reporting, and accounts receivable activities.
  • Manage cost structures and ensure operational profitability and budget compliance.
  • Analyze key business metrics to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

6. Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and mentor teams across sales, operations, warehouse, customs, and customer service departments.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, train, and develop local talent to build a strong and sustainable leadership pipeline.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or e-commerce operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of Canadian customs regulations (CBSA, CARM, LVS/CLVS).
  • Strong financial acumen and proven experience managing P&L.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin is highly preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $85,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
