County Compliance, Analyst (12 Month Contract)
JOB DESCRIPTION


Korea Compliance is dedicated to fostering and maintaining a robust compliance culture within Korea Bank. We offer comprehensive compliance and regulatory advisory to business and support functions, addressing both existing and new regulations. Our role involves assessing and measuring compliance related risks, as well as monitoring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and rules that govern our Business, ensuring alignment with the global compliance program.

As a Country Compliance, Analyst you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including regulatory reporting, managing personal account dealings, and reviewing policies and procedures. You will collaborate closely with the team on regulatory developments and changes affecting both banking and financial investment sectors. This position offers the opportunity to build professional relationships with a variety of stakeholders and to deepen your understanding of diverse products (Deposits, Loans, fixed Income and Derivatives) and related regulations.

Job responsibilities:

  • Assisting the team in reviewing regulatory development and changes and other ad-hoc tasks and projects as required
  • Providing advisory duties to business stakeholders on the personal account dealing, Gift & entertainment, etc.
  • Preparing and consolidating regulatory reporting
  • Coordinating and contributing to Policy and Procedure review.
  • Contributing to the preparation of internal control committee and other internal forums

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in either banking, legal, Compliance, regulatory or audit environment within the financial services industry
  • Possess strong business ethics and integrity, especially when handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Must be an innovative, teachable and sensible person, as well as being a supportive and effective team player
  • Effective analytical skills, ability to manage several simultaneous tasks, and strong attention to detail
  • Adaptability to work under time pressure and resiliency to provide stable and consistent performance

This role is intended to be for an initial term of approximately 12 months only, however, subject to business needs, the contract may be extended or converted to permanent employment.
