We are hiring! Come join our team at Flatlander Express Inc. We are a locally owned and operated courier business that delivers to rural areas in Saskatchewan. We offer competitive wages and benefits.
Full time Monday to Friday
Starting Wage
$20 per hour
Start Time
5:45 am - 1:45 pm (Plus possible overtime)
Requirements:
- Experience with winter highway driving
- Experience driving 1 ton & 3 ton trucks
- Cell phone with GPS (Cell phone allowance provided)
- Steel toed safety boots
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- A valid class 5 driver’s license
- No criminal record (Criminal Record Check to be provided upon hiring)
- Good driving record (Driver's Abstract to be provided upon hiring)
Everyday Tasks:
- Highway driving
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate professionally with customers & co-workers
- Drive company 1, 3 & 5 ton trucks making deliveries/pickups
- Transport loads safely following the rules of the road
- Represent yourself and our company to the highest standards
- Maintain contact with dispatch and work to resolve issues as they arise
- Verify load security and accuracy
- Other duties as assigned by management
