Who We Are
Come and join us. The Datacenter Power and Performance Architecture group architects' products that deliver leadership performance and power efficiency for traditional Xeon as well as AI. Looking for qualified candidates to fill 2025 internship/coop positions.
Who You Are
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Working hand-in-hand with other teams across Intel to deliver best-in-class performance and innovations across the XEON CPU and AI portfolio.
The candidates will work closely with team to define, study, and analyze innovative PnP features.
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be pursuing a MS or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other science or engineering related field.
6 months experience with software or scripting programming languages such as C or C++, Python, Perl, etc.
6+ months coursework or project work experience dealing with one or more of the following areas: CPU architecture, performance modeling, simulation, power modeling, power/performance tradeoffs, data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
power and performance data analysis; workload performance characterization, hardware performance counters and, or performance monitoring tools.
Skills in Python coding
Knowledge of Intel Architecture

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $63,000.00-$166,000.00
- Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
