Position Title: Crane & Material Handler

Reports to: Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Material Handler to position customer materials and departmental supplies. This includes receipt of goods, positioning parts for further processing, loading materials for shipment and other related activities.
• Must have Crane experience
• Must have Towmotor experience
• Quality check all shipments prior to packing load, complete required paint touch ups.
• Safely operate indoor and outdoor overhead cranes, forklifts
• Handle painted parts safely without handling damage - rigging skills are a definite asset; loads can weigh 50 tons or more.
• Prepare materials for processing by performing cleaning, taping, masking and other tasks.
• Work is indoors and outdoors in a factory-type setting and large yard - the candidate should be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions when required.
• Communicate well, be cooperative and work well in a team environment.
• Work safely and wear/use all safety equipment required for the job.
• Maintain a clean workplace and perform general housekeeping on a regular basis.
• Adhere to the company’s ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System including completing shipping, quality, and other documentation in an error-free manner.
• AMT has a full, comprehensive Health & Safety program and is fully committed to its implementation and use.
• Willing to learn new tasks after 6 months such as inspection criteria and quality documentation.
