Job Overview
Alliance Crane is a family owned and operated crane company located in Moose Jaw and Regina, Saskatchewan. Our customers are based in Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba with an emphasis on southern Saskatchewan. Shift and Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- Weekends and overtime as needed
- Travel and out of town work as required.
Certifications
- Journeyperson Hydraulic Crane Operator or Journeyperson Boom Truck Operator
- Minimum 3A preferably Class 1A License
- Third year apprentices encouraged to apply!
- First and second year apprentices with experience may be considered.
Requirements
- Journeyperson Hydraulic Crane Operator or Boom Truck Operator (Red Seal applicants will be given favorable consideration)
- Minimum Class 3A, Class 1A Preferred
- Third year apprentices encouraged to apply!
- First and second year apprentices with experience may be considered.
- First Aid, H2S Alive, WHMIS 2015, Drug and Alcohol Testing, all considered an asset but will train the right candidate
- Experience operating boom trucks, rough terrains, truck mounts, and all terrain cranes
Responsibilities
- Mobilize and operate cranes and hoisting equipment to lift, move or position large objects at work sites as directed by customers
- Perform pre-operational inspections, safety checks, maintain log books, and FLHA
- Perform load chart calculations
- Follow all safety protocols, hazard assessments and OH&S guidelines while operating cranes
- Ensure loads are rigged safely
- Minor maintenance on cranes as required
- Assist duties in main shop as required
- May perform other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $55.00 per hour
