Join Our Team as a Credit & Collections Specialist!
Are you passionate about driving results and building strong customer relationships? Join our dynamic team as a Credit & Collections Specialist, where you'll take ownership of a high-value B2B debtor portfolio.
Your role will be critical in ensuring smooth cash flow, mitigating risks, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is your opportunity to manage your portfolio as if it were your own business and make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end credit and collections management for Tier 1 and Tier 2 B2B customers.
- Proactively engage customers to ensure payments are made in line with collection timelines.
- Monitor debtor aging and provide accurate cash forecasting with detailed performance commentary.
- Educate customers on Order to Cash (O2C) processes and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for payment-related issues, leading escalations for resolution.
- Lead customer meetings confidently, presenting data-driven insights to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ensure data integrity for new customers, raising or escalating claims and disputes when necessary.
- Perform ad hoc billing, customized billing, and cash application tasks.
- Achieve monthly Quality & Assurance compliance of over 90%.
Required Skills & Capabilities:
- At least 2 years of experience in credit or collections roles.
- Proven track record managing high-value B2B debtors, with B2C experience being a plus.
- Strong knowledge of credit concepts, including aged trial balance, DSO, and doubtful debt provisions.
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills with effective risk management abilities.
- High proficiency in Excel; experience with Oracle and Salesforce is highly desirable.
