The Role:
In this role, you will be part of the Crew Control team that operates on a 24/7 basis with 12 hour day and night shifts on a rotating roster. The team manages network disruption and are responsible for coordinating Cabin Crew and/or Pilot rosters.
The position is based in Brisbane Head Office and, you will work closely with the Manager Crew Tracking.
As a Crew Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Ensure all flights are correctly resourced in a compliant manner before take-off
- Assess cost versus on time performance and customer benefit within all crew recovery solutions.
- Provide input to process improvement initiatives
- Safety matters are raised through relevant reporting tools
What you need to be successful:
- Must demonstrate strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- A flexible approach and the ability to manage changing priorities, unplanned disruptions, and competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated understanding of airline or similar logistical operations.
- Ability to participate in a rotating 'On-call roster', whilst demonstrating a high level of service.
- Understanding of Sabre AirCrews
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS Office suite of programs
