Foreman / Crew Lead (Construction)

Location: Fargo–Moorhead area

Reports To: PM / Ownership

Position Overview

Build Right is growing and preparing for a busy season. We’re hiring a Foreman to lead a field crew and run day-to-day jobsite operations.

This role is for someone who can take a plan, organize the day, lead a crew, and keep the job moving forward. We take on an awesome variety of jobs (from decks and basement remodels, to full home builds and commercial remodels), you'll always be experiencing something new. Our best foremen think ahead, communicate clearly, and take pride in clean, well-run jobsites.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Leading a crew on residential and light commercial projects
• Planning daily tasks to stay on schedule
• Coordinating materials, equipment, and deliveries with PM's/Ownership
• Maintaining quality standards and jobsite safety
• Training and guiding crew members and setting clear expectations
• Keeping jobs organized, clean, and professional
• Communicating progress and issues early (weather, materials, employee)
• Tracking time, production, and job details (using company tools)

What We’re Looking For

• Experience leading a construction crew (formal Foreman title not required)
• Strong understanding of residential construction and job flow
• Ability to read plans and turn scope into daily execution
• Calm, steady leadership style (direct without drama)
• Organized and reliable; follows through on details
• Comfortable using basic job tracking tools (QB-time, photos, notes)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
