Role Summary:
CHC Helikopter Services, is recruiting for a new role as Crew Planner to join our OCC team. This role will based in Stavanger, Norway.
This is a full time position, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to be part of a dynamic organisation in a very rewarding area of aviation. OCC is responsible to plan and deliver resources in accordance with applicable rules and regulations, contractual requirements and to the highest level of customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will also have good development opportunities within the organisation.
The role will report to Manager Crew Planning.
- Responsible for the short – and long term planning and optimisation of resources
- Responsible to ensure utilisation, and plan in accordance with company requirements, legislations and budgeting
- Effective use of systems, data and operational knowledge to ensure the optimal use of resources
- Responsible to follow-up and arrange various training requirements
- Responsible to follow-up on work-and rest hours for crew, and ensure all crew are in accordance with applicable regulations
- Responsible to prepare and follow-up on reports and statistics
- Continuously work to improve processes and systems for crew planning and scheduling
- Maintain and take ownership of systems related to crew planning and scheduling
- Arrange for travel and accommodation
- Contribute on administrative tasks, such as invoicing, salary changes, holiday schedule etc.
May perform other duties as assigned and within areas of responsibility
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:- Relevant bachelor’s degree within, Human Resource Management, Bachelor of Management or other relevant degree. Relevant experience may compensate for the lack of formal education
- Experience from the Aviation industry is an advantage
- Knowledge and experience of Collective Bargaining Agreements is an advantage
- Proficient in Norwegian and English, verbal and written
- Previous experience from a supervisory role or similar will be preferred
Skills/Experience:
- Experience with crew planning or people management
- Excellent skills in planning systems and general good IT knowledge
- Excellent understanding of the various CLA, regulations and company policies and procedures
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
