Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CSA Engineer with expertise in waterproofing, piling, and structural review for GMP and cleanroom construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing structural and architectural works, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The role requires a strong background in cold room and cleanroom construction within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment.

Key Responsibilities

Structural & Architectural Engineering:

• Oversee and coordinate piling, waterproofing, and structural construction works.
• Review and assess engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents for compliance with project requirements.
• Ensure proper execution of cold room and cleanroom construction according to GMP standards.
• Work closely with contractors and vendors to ensure quality control and adherence to design requirements.

Project Management & Site Coordination:

• Monitor construction progress, schedules, and site activities to meet project milestones.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to structural, waterproofing, and piling works.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams, including MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) engineers, project managers, and QA/QC teams.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure construction quality and safety.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure all structural and architectural works comply with GMP, cleanroom, and industry regulations.
• Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and work permits for construction activities.
• Maintain technical documentation for waterproofing, piling, and structural works.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in CSA engineering, preferably in GMP, cleanroom, or pharmaceutical construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of piling, waterproofing, cold room, and cleanroom construction techniques.
• Familiarity with GMP, BCA regulations, and cleanroom classification standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or structural analysis software is a plus.
• Strong ability to liaise with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
