CSSD Operative
Bon Secours Hospital Limerick at Barringtons are pleased to invite applications for the position of CSSD Operative.
Come and join the team in what will be Ireland's newest and most state-of-the-art private hospital.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the production of sterilised medical devices within the hospital. They will be responsible for cleaning, disinfection, packing and autoclaving of instruments using mechanical and manual methods thus ensuring that a high-quality service is maintained.
Post: Full-time permanent position
Salary: From €39,710 dependent on relevant experience
Hours of work: 39 hours per week, flexibility around working days and times is an inherent part of the post
The ideal candidate must have good communication and interpersonal skills, be flexible, hard-working and efficient.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
- Must have previous experience working in Decontamination / CSSD.
- Be competent in the use of information technology.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- QQI / FETAC Level 5 in Health Service Skills or Healthcare Support is desirable.
- Follow all health and safety policies in accordance with hospital policy.
- To practice within and support the Bon Secours Mission and Values, policies, procedures, guidelines and new initiatives as directed / introduced by the hospital.
