Culinary Instructor

This position is for a culinary camp from July 21 - 25th from 9 AM - 4 PM each day.

Must have culinary teaching experience with children.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct children ages 5-10 in engaging culinary arts camp from 7/21 - 7/25
• Ability to communicate with a diverse group of teachers and students.
• Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
• Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.
• Provide a fun and creative environment.

Requirements:

• Must be able to commit to the entire camp week of 7/21 - 7/25
• Must be comfortable instructing children in learning a simple recipe.
• While curriculum planning is not necessary, we require that the lead instructor purchase the ingredients for the recipe before class and bring them to class. Expense reimbursement will be provided for the ingredients.

Qualifications:

• Previous teaching experience required.
• Interest / experience in culinary arts or passion for cooking & baking.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable.
• Demonstrate patience and leadership skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

• High hourly compensation

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
