About the role
The Cultivation and Supply Planning Lead plays a key role in ensuring our cultivation strategy aligns with commercial demand, supporting a reliable and consistent supply of products across our medicinal cannabis portfolio.
In this role, you will translate demand forecasts into cultivation programs, providing oversight of crop planning, harvest projections, biomass availability, and inventory visibility. Working closely with cultivation, manufacturing, commercial, and operations teams, you will help ensure production output supports product launches, portfolio priorities, and evolving customer demand.
By analysing cultivation performance and supply outcomes, you will generate insights that strengthen yield performance, improve supply reliability, and enhance planning accuracy. The role also supports the evaluation of new cultivars and external supply sourcing when required, helping maintain continuity of supply as the business grows.
This is an exciting opportunity to sit at the intersection of cultivation, supply planning, and commercial strategy, helping shape how we deliver high quality medicinal cannabis products to market.
To support flexibility, this role can be offered full time or part time (four days per week) depending on the successful candidate’s availability.
As the Cultivation and Supply Planning Lead, you will
Develop and maintain the cultivation plan to ensure production capacity aligns with forecasted commercial demand across key cultivars and product SKUs.
Translate demand forecasts into cultivation programming, ensuring appropriate crop volumes are scheduled across all growth stages to support reliable and consistent supply.
Maintain forward visibility of cultivation capacity, harvest schedules, and projected biomass availability across a 2-to-12-month planning horizon.
Monitor execution of the cultivation plan in collaboration with the cultivation team and identify risks or variances that may impact yield, quality, or supply timelines.
Track and analyse crop performance including yield outcomes, cannabinoid and terpene profiles, LOD results, and other quality metrics to assess cultivar performance.
Analyse forecast versus actual production outcomes and provide insights to improve cultivation scheduling, supply planning accuracy, and crop performance.
Maintain visibility of available biomass and projected harvest volumes to support allocation of flower across the product portfolio in line with commercial priorities and demand.
Monitor inventory across biomass and finished product including stock allocations, excess production, and potential supply risks.
Support production planning and finished product replenishment by ensuring sufficient biomass and component availability to meet manufacturing requirements.
Work closely with cultivation, manufacturing, commercial, and operations teams to ensure alignment between cultivation output, production schedules, product launches, and customer demand.
Participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and provide input on cultivation capacity, harvest timelines, and supply outlook.
Support the evaluation and introduction of new cultivars including participation in research and development trials, cultivar performance analysis, and recommendations for commercialisation.
Assist with external supply sourcing where required, including evaluation of imported flower or third-party supply to supplement local cultivation and support portfolio continuity.
Remain informed of developments in the medicinal cannabis industry, including regulatory updates and market changes.
