Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the following position: Cultural Assistant Part Time
The Cultural Assistant is a crucial front of house and administrative role. The successful candidate will not only act as the first point of contact to visitors but will assist with administration, promotion of Knights and Conquests and represent the public face of GMCE CLG.
The Cultural Assistant will provide excellent customer care and play a vital role in presenting our heritage in an engaging way.
Applicant Requirements:
· Experience in Front office.
· Administration, IT, Telephone Skills.
· Experience in the tourism industry
· Friendly personality, enthusiastic team player and enjoy interacting/working with the public.
· Bookings and payments processes
· Event programming and participation
Relevant Education Qualifications:
· Tourism and Leisure
· The Arts
· Public Relations and Event Promotion
The successful candidate will be required to work at weekends and occasionally at events.
This role is supported by Pobal. It is a rewarding and enjoyable role for those with a community ethos that enjoy engaging with the public to preserve and promote our rich history and heritage.
