Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of curry dishes according to established recipes and standards
• Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain hygiene and quality
• Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
• Serve dishes promptly and professionally to customers, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service hours
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
• Experience with meal preparation, especially in preparing authentic curry dishes preferred
• Excellent serving skills with a focus on presentation and customer satisfaction
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Kitchen experience including use of various cooking equipment and tools
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Flexibility to work during restaurant hours, including weekends if necessary
