Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and overall upkeep of our properties. The Custodian will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for tenants, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of common areas, hallways, lobbies, stairwells, elevators, and restrooms.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors, carpets, and surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and other surfaces to maintain a professional appearance.
• Restock restrooms and other common areas with necessary supplies.
• Monitor and report any safety hazards, vandalism, or maintenance issues to the Property Manager.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for events, meetings, or special requests from tenants.
• Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and request restocking as needed.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment

Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial, janitorial, or maintenance experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
• Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors
