Custodian/Janitor

Position Type: Temporary Contract

Duration: November 27th, 2024-January 20th, 2025

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8pm-11pm

Location: Liberty Village

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our cleaning and maintenance team on a temporary contract. This position involves maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe, hygienic environment in a professional setting. This role has the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and company needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing and disinfecting surfaces
• Restock and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies
• Report maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and company protocols

Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
• Comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in cleaning, custodial work, or maintenance roles (preferred)
• Familiarity with safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment (preferred)

Pay: From $17.25 per hour
