As an Asset Servicing Associate within the Custody Operations team, you will oversee all aspects of announcement capture, Liquidation, client instruction processing for voluntary events and proxy voting services for India market. You will ensure timely and accurate processing, maintain strong risk controls, and act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. You’ll leverage digital tools, support process enhancements, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
Our team partners with global custody, client service, product, and regional processing teams to deliver seamless asset servicing support. We focus on risk mitigation, operational efficiency, and delivering a superior client experience across global markets.
Job responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of control checkpoints, client instructions, and queries daily
- Escalate issues to internal and external parties as needed for prompt resolution
- Review and update processes to minimize risk and improve operational efficiency
- Act as supervisor and controller to ensure all risk aspects are mitigated within the team
- Provide support, guidance, and training to strengthen team knowledge and enhance the global client experience
- Serve as a single point of contact for stakeholders to resolve corporate actions queries
- Collaborate with global partners to monitor, analyze, and improve service delivery
- Advocate for and implement process enhancements and digital tool initiatives
- Maintain high accuracy rates and validate inputs, identifying and addressing exceptions
- Document and implement new processes efficiently in a changing environment
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 5 years of experience in Asset Servicing for India Market
- High accuracy and attention to detail, with ability to validate input and identify exceptions
- Strong analytical skills and independent, reliable decision-making mindset
- Initiative to lead change and continuously enhance controls
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate key risks and challenges to management
- Experience driving process enhancements and digital tool initiatives globally or regionally
- Proven track record in risk-based environments and risk reduction
- Ability to learn, document, and implement new processes efficiently in a changing environment
Flexible, organized, and able to prioritize work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience handling or executing user acceptance testing for new applications
- Knowledge of India market processes and requirements
- Involvement in multiple process changes and enhancements
- Experience supporting global or regional process improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with digital tools and automation in asset servicing
- Strong client service orientation and stakeholder management skills
