CUSTOM CABINET DESIGNER / ARCHITECT

Oppein Home is a whole-house cabinet exclusive dealer in NJ and NY based out of USA. We are seeking an enthusiastic designer / architect to join our team. Daily activities include cabinet designing, AutoCAD technical drawing, and inter-company collaboration. The candidate will design and render the products including but not limited to Kitchen, Walk-In closets, Mudroom, Butler Pantry, Wet Bar. The candidate will also stage and render furniture, lighting, and other accessories to make the whole house more appealing. The candidate will be trained in CAXA software, which is proprietary to Oppein and so prior experience with other design software is a must (Sketchup, 2020, etc.).

Experience:

• Have a holistic understanding of the entire design process
• Be able to express design direction clear, compelling frameworks
• Familiarity with design packages and construction documentation
• Degree in (Interior Design / Interior Architecture or related field)
• REVIT and AutoCAD experience required (minimum 2 years with each)
• Proficient in PC based programs (Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Digital rendering)
• Design from initial layout to final order and place cabinetry orders
• Previous experience in kitchen cabinet design software and proprietary software for custom cabinets
• Familiarity with kitchen cabinet industry standards
