Impact LED is a nationwide manufacturer and distributor of both indoor and outdoor electronic signs - specifically, L.E.D. video displays. Our Dealers service their local customers in markets all across the United States by providing our affordable and high quality signage solutions. Although Impact LED is headquartered in Shelbyville, Kentucky, our talented and passionate staff are both in-office and remote throughout the country and abroad. We are currently seeking a Crate Builder to join our team at the Shelbyville location.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a highly collaborative role that will partner with the production team, Production Manager and Manufacturing Lead. In this role, the Crate Builder will build custom crates, skids, pallets, packaging in a production setting. You will be involved in the data entry into various systems, crating, cycle counts, shipping, receiving, and more.

Major Responsibilities:

• Uncrating cabinets and loading racks
• Building crates and loading signs into crates
• Loading and unloading trucks using various lift equipment and also by hand
• Participating in monthly cycle counts
• Data entry in various programs
• Quality assurance photos and documentation
• Organization and maintenance of facility
• Other tasks as assigned

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in production environment (preferred)
• Construction experience is helpful
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Critical-thinking skills to establish action plans and execute tasks with minimal supervision
• Must be able to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Must be comfortable working in a labor-intensive environment.
• Candidates with previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, welding or logistics experience are encouraged to apply
• Requires quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
