About the Role

We are looking for practical, hands-on Installation Engineers to join our growing project delivery team.

This role would suit someone currently working in:

• Security systems
• Alarm or CCTV installation
• Access control
• Structured cabling or electrical installation

who is interested in moving into the Custom Install / Smart Technology sector and developing new skills across AV and integrated systems.

No two days are the same—this is a varied, site-based role working on professionally delivered installations.

What You’ll Do

You will be involved in the physical installation and commissioning of integrated technology solutions, including:

• Installing and routing cables neatly and safely on-site
• Working with containment, power tools, fixings, and hand tools
• Terminating and making off data, network, and low-voltage cabling
• Installing equipment such as displays, speakers, cameras, sensors, control panels, and peripherals
• Assisting with second-fix terminations and final fit-out
• Carrying out basic fault finding and testing
• Working from drawings, plans, and instructions
• Maintaining tidy, organised rack rooms and headends
• Collaborating closely with Project Managers and Senior Engineers

Full product and system training will be provided.

What We’re Looking For

We are open to candidates from non‑AV backgrounds who bring strong transferable skills.

Essential qualities:

• Practical, hands-on experience using power tools and hand tools
• Experience with cabling, termination, or electrical/security installs
• Pride in neat, accurate workmanship
• Willingness to learn new technologies and systems
• Reliable, punctual, and professional on client sites

Ideally, you will also have:

• Experience in security, alarm, CCTV, access control, electrical or data installation
• Ability to follow drawings and technical instructions
• Basic networking or cabling knowledge
• A clean, valid Irish driving licence
• Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude

Pay: €33,000.00-€43,000.00 per year
