Due to the operational requirements of this position the successful candidate will be located in Brisbane, Sydney or Perth.

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Customer Order Expeditor to join our operations team on a 18-month contract.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring customer orders are delivered on time and in full by actively managing order execution, resolving exceptions, and coordinating across multiple stakeholders. You will be at the centre of delivery performance, ensuring risks are identified early and actions are taken to protect customer commitments.
This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your ability to prioritise, communicate, and problem-solve will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and operational performance.
In this role your Key Responsibilities will be:
Manage customer order execution
Monitor order progress, identify delays, and take corrective action
Ensure customer delivery dates are actively managed and met
Expedite critical orders
Prioritise and drive urgent or high-value orders through to completion
Coordinate with internal teams to remove blockers and accelerate delivery
Resolve order exceptions
Identify issues impacting delivery (e.g. supply delays, data errors, logistics constraints)
Take ownership to resolve and escalate as required
Coordinate cross-functional teams
Work closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Operations
Align stakeholders to deliver outcomes on complex or at-risk orders
Maintain data accuracy
Ensure system data (ATP, delivery dates, order status) is accurate and up to date
Support clear and reliable customer commitments
Provide visibility and reporting
Track order status, risks, and performance
Provide updates to stakeholders and highlight priority actions
Drive continuous improvement
Identify recurring issues and process gaps
Contribute to improving order execution and delivery performance
What You Bring
Ideally 2-3 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Order Management roles
Familiarity with ticketing/case management tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar) is an advantage
SAP S/4HANA (or similar ERP system) – strong requirement
Experience with order management and ATP/delivery scheduling processes within ERP
Strong understanding of order management and delivery processes
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks under pressure
Confidence working across multiple stakeholders and functions
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills and customer focus
A proactive mindset with a bias for action
