Description:
Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Trade Market Manager, the role involves hands on sales and customer service, along with plant consultation, scanning stock, processing payments and liaising with suppliers. Also required are general nursery duties including weeding, watering, merchandising, grounds maintenance and using trade equipment.

The position is full time, working a five-day roster Tuesday to Saturday.

Business operational hours are: Weekdays 7.00 am – 5.00 pm and Saturdays 8.00am - 4.00pm.

Plantmark offers a four week induction and training program, with face to face learning and online courses presenting a roadmap for success in the role.

Skills and Experiences:
Essential attributes

To be successful as a Plantmark Trade Market Sales and Service person, you will have:

• High level customer service skills with a proactive approach to solving queries.
• Adept with following processes and responsibilities
• Confident computer ability at intermediate standards.
• Positive work ethic with ability to effectively work unsupervised as well as in a team.
• Passion for plants with a knowledge of Botanical plant identification and/or horticulture experience or keen to learn

• Effective communicator across a varied group of individuals
• Accountability for tasks with a sense of urgency and a keen eye for detail.

Applicants must also be capable of performing regular heavy lifting tasks and be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
