Niagara is a proudly New Zealand-owned business with a rich heritage, celebrating 90 years of excellence in 2025. Since 1935, we have grown to become a trusted name in timber processing and supply, proudly delivering high-quality timber products to building merchants throughout NZ, as well as into global markets. Our commitment to investing in leading technology, superior product standards and exceptional customer service is what sets us apart from our peers.

Due to continued growth and the expansion of our central dispatching operations at our Kennington site, we are seeking a detail-driven Customer Service Team Member to join our team. From time-to-time backup for other customer supporting roles in the export market would also be required.

Customer service is at the heart of what we do, and your ability to provide prompt, professional, and proactive support will be critical. Whether handling phone and email enquiries, managing order timelines, or liaising with both internal departments and external customers, you will ensure communication is always clear, courteous, and timely.

Beyond technical skills and experience, we are looking for someone who genuinely aligns with Niagara’s values. We take pride in our strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to delivering only the best to our customers. We value teamwork, accountability, and a continuous improvement mind-set. If you re someone who shares these principles and thrives in a team environment that respects and supports one another, you will fit right in.

We are looking for someone who can confidently transfer skills such as attention to detail, strong computer literacy, and a commitment to continually improving the customer experience. Previous experience in an office environment is essential, as you’ll be working within a structured yet dynamic team setting where professionalism, initiative, and accuracy are critical to success.

If you are ready to join a team that values tradition, quality, and innovation and you are excited by the opportunity to contribute to a growing, future-focused business we would love to hear from you. ensuring you include both a cover letter and CV.

For any questions about the role, feel free to contact Jemma at jemmac@niagara.nz. Please note that applications sent via email will not be accepted.
