Job Summary
The Customer Service and Administrative Support Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries while providing essential administrative support to keep daily operations running smoothly. This role combines strong communication skills with organizational ability, requiring someone who can manage customer relationships and back-office tasks with equal attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional, timely manner
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products/services to answer questions effectively
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when needed
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolution
Administrative Support
- Maintain and organize files, records, and databases
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and documents
- Process work order, purchase orders, and other paperwork
- Support other departments with data entry and administrative tasks
- Answer and direct incoming calls and correspondence
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- 2–3 years of experience in customer service or administrative roles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with inventory or order management systems
- Experience in AI such as Copilot, ChatGPT and Claude
Work Environment
- This an office-based position and no option for work from home
- Work hours are from 830AM-5PM Mon to Fri
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
